David's Story
Widely known as Dr. D Baseball, David has played on 25+ teams across the globe, competing at the highest levels of travel and showcase baseball. His dedication to development, combined with high-pressure performance experience, positions him as an invaluable asset to any competitive team.
A Scholar-Athlete with a Vision
Beyond baseball, David is a curious and motivated honor roll student at St. Brigid School in Portland, Maine. History is his favorite subject, while mathematics is another strength; he takes advanced math and has competed on the Cheverus high school math team since 7th grade. Eager to challenge himself beyond the classroom, David completed an introductory college sociology course the summer going into his 8th grade year, and plans to take the corresponding CLEP exam in the fall of 2026. He was selected by St. Brigid School as a representative in the 2026 Knights of Columbus Essay Contest. His passion for aviation has also led him to train in a commercial-grade flight simulator. He hopes to earn his Private Pilot License at age 17 and ultimately pursue his goals of serving as a U.S. Air Force pilot and continuing his baseball career.
Leadership & Community Impact
David’s leadership extends beyond the diamond. He has sponsored multiple underprivileged youth in Little League, volunteers as a state of Maine certified umpire, fundraises for teammates’ travel expenses, and participates in service projects with Trosky Baseball in the Dominican Republic, providing equipment and mentorship to aspiring young players. He also volunteers his time at a local food shelter. His character, sportsmanship, and dedication to giving back make him a leader both in the dugout and in his community.
